1. Introduction
By accessing or using Cosmo Grocery’s website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
Cosmo Grocery (“we”, “our”, “us”) operates as an online grocery store based in Spain, offering packaged grocery and household products with home delivery across mainland Spain.
All prices displayed on the website are in euros (€) and include VAT (IVA), unless otherwise stated.
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Any changes will apply to all future orders placed after such updates.
2. Products & Pricing
We provide packaged grocery and food items. Product availability may change without notice.
Each product page includes:
- Product name and description
- Unit price (VAT included)
- Any applicable discounts or promotions
We strive to maintain accurate product information and pricing. However, occasional typographical or pricing errors may occur.
In such cases, we reserve the right to correct the error and contact the customer before processing the order.
3. Taxes (IVA)
All product prices include the corresponding Spanish VAT (IVA), as follows:
- 4% IVA – Basic essential food items (e.g. rice, flour, milk, lentils, etc.)
- 10% IVA – General or processed food items (e.g. snacks, juices, packaged foods, etc.)
- 21% IVA – Non-food and general merchandise
Shipping costs are subject to VAT, and the IVA rate applied to shipping will automatically match the highest IVA rate of the products in your order.
4. Orders & Payments
Orders are confirmed once payment is successfully processed.
Accepted payment methods are displayed during checkout and may include:
- Credit/debit card
- Bank transfer
- Secure online payment gateways (e.g. PayPal)
After payment confirmation, an order confirmation email will be sent.
If a product becomes unavailable after purchase, the customer will be notified and refunded in full.
5. Shipping & Delivery
Shipping costs depend on the delivery address and order weight.
Estimated delivery time is 1–3 working days after payment confirmation.
We partner with trusted courier services (such as CTT Express ) for fast and reliable deliveries throughout mainland Spain.
Notes:
- Shipping prices include VAT (21%).
- Customers must provide accurate delivery information.
- We are not responsible for delays due to incorrect addresses or courier issues.
- Once delivered, the responsibility for the products transfers to the customer.
6. Returns & Refunds
Returns are accepted within 3 calendar days of delivery, provided that items are unopened, unused, and in original packaging.
Non-returnable items include:
- Perishable goods
- Promotional or discounted products
Once your return is approved, a refund will be issued via the original payment method.
Please note:
- Shipping costs are non-refundable.
- Customers are responsible for return shipping; no pickup service is available.
7. Customer Responsibilities
Customers agree to:
- Provide accurate account and delivery information.
- Use the website lawfully and avoid any fraudulent activity.
8. Limitation of Liability

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Spain.
Any disputes will be resolved under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Barcelona.
